Section Four: Test of Standards Explanation and Rules

Explanation: What follows is a test of standards. This test will indicate whether or not you have received the baseline education in UEW required to teach the tradition. It is likely that you have missed one or two things, or forgotten something. It is acceptable to look such information up, in fact, it is required that you do so. For your own benefit, we recommend you keep a photocopy of this document in case you forget these things in the future or as an outline for teaching others. Questions come in roughly three types: opinions, facts and scenarios. Failure to adequately answer any question may result in the rejection of your application, but opinion and scenario questions have a much broader range of answers. Do not be afraid to go into detail but please keep answers clear and brief.

Each question has a minimum of three parts: the question itself, a source you used for looking it up and whether or not you felt you had learned it before consulting the source. The first two parts show your knowledge and whether or not you can look something up, the third part helps us know if we have holes in our education techniques.
