Things not available online?
As I said in the mail, I don't think Grandfathering in was designed to be used online- it's a way of adding people who have a relationship with UEW people.
Maybe we should have a list of "things that can't be done online alone."
Like, with 3rd circle people, I've only accepted online stuff from spectacular students, so third circle membership and training would be included...
grandfathering in...
ordination...
What else?

So how should we structure 3rd Circle membership and training then if it isn't going to be online? After Second Circle, do you think we should change how we're doing it now, re: the mentorship and project, etc. to include face to face meetings as well?
Agreed re: grandfathering and ordination. I'm not sure if there is anything else that should be included. I can't think of anything offhand...

I think what we have for third circle CAN be done online, but it can be done BETTER with face to face contact with a mentor....
Now some people, and especially some people on this blog, have been so good about being connected, etc, that they could work the online way...
but not everyone can do that, and a mentor really needs to KNOW the person they are mentoring- which was easy for me when I saw a student from the first circle essay to the end, you know?
