If you are still interested in joining CFFN, there is
an assignment you must complete. In order to do the assignment you must
click the link below and when the window pops up you must enter user
name
PRE_FIRST
and password
firstcircle.
They must be typed exactly as they appear on this page. This is your
first test. If you cannot figure this out, you will not be able to do
the lessons anyway so please figure this out without further
assistance. Remember, we are Internet based. You must be capable of using the Internet in order to participate.
Before getting to that link, however, there
are a few things we must cover... most importantly age limits, entrance
limits, acceptable emails and entrance windows:
AGE LIMITS: CFFN is not open to
minors. There are several legal reasons for this, and please accept
this ruling, as it will not change and there will be no exceptions made. The definition of minor varies from location to location,
but we identify as a minor anyone who has not yet passed their 18th
birthday. Since being a member of CFFN assumes you're going to meet
other CFFNers eventually, don't lie! Can you imagine going through a
program and getting a certificate that you were afraid to share with
anyone? How about being, oh, 21, meeting someone from CFFN and
having to lie about when you joined! YUCK!
ENTRANCE LIMITS: Every month,
only 10 people are admitted. If you do your assignment quickly, and
it's full of problems it is NOT going to get you in. Take the time to
do excellent work first. The 10 best are taken, and in months without
10 good ones, we won't accept a full 10. Your paper must be VERY good in order to get past our admissions committee. Please do not waste our time and yours by sending us a paper that is not at the very least spell checked. And please do NOT send html'ized or otherwise formatted email or attachments; the only acceptable assignments will be plain text only.
ACCEPTABLE EMAILS: Only emails
that are entitled
ENTRANCE_ASSIGNMENT,
in all caps and with an underscore will be read as entrance
assignments. This will get it past our spam filters. If you have a
question about the entrance assignment, entitle your email
E_A_QUESTION.
If the question is answered by reading any of these preliminary pages, we're not going to be very amused, and if you finally do send us a paper, this will be taken into consideration. We're not trying to be "mean" or "elitist" by saying this. The cold hard fact is that there are thousands of people who wish to learn Wicca, and our program is one of the most academically rigorous available. This said, we expect a very high level of reading comprehension. If you don't have that skill, you would likely be better off learning Wicca from someone in an offline (in person) program. The email itself must be in plain text (no formatting, ESPECIALLY not html formatting) and NOT sent as an attachment.
ENTRANCE WINDOWS: Papers
and questions about papers are only accepted from the 1st to the 14th
of every month. If you send them after that, even by changing the date
on your computer, they will be deleted unread.
