The Fifteen Creeds of Silver Chalice

The Fifteen Creeds of Silver Chalice were written by group consensus in 1969. They were originally called “The Silver Chalice Creeds of Witchcraft” or “The 15 Creeds of a Silver Chalice Witch” and went through many variations over the years. Presented here are the two most important variations: The first, the 10th anniversary edition and the 20th anniversary final rewrite-the version CUEW hold to this day.

8.Better you should die than charge others for your knowledge of the Craft and the Law.
9.Honor the ancestors with Truth.
10. Skin color, gender and religion are unimportant.
11. Better to be called a bad person than speak falsehood.
12. A contemplative life is the only life spent wisely.
13. Find what you are at all costs.
14. Be not a burden to those who would not carry you gladly, and then never without good cause.
