Official stance on Sexual Orientation UEW Affirms that the nature of love is such that any relationship between adults capable of giving consent has the posibility of becoming the foundation of a permanent relationship. UEW further affirms that love is love, regardless of the gender, race, or religion of those in love. Love transends such labels. UEW also affirms agressively that NO RELIGION, not Wicca, not Druidism, not Islam, not Christianity, has the right to dictate what is appropriate contact between consenting adults. FURTHERMORE, no just government allows or attempts such control over the expressions of love between consenting adults legally capable of giving consent. UEW recognises a great diversity of committments between adults. It is our intention to provide blessing ceremonies on any commitment that has a strong contract between partners and in which all parties consent to the blessing and the responsibilites that such a blessing entails. UEW does not allow blessing ceremonies to occur without a definitate legal contract between parties that includes a conflict resolution clause and a dissolution clause. Furthermore, blessings will not include language that restricts the ability of the participants to disolve the contract. The Universal Eclectic Tradition of Wicca FURTHERMORE affirms a need in the greater community to be exposed to diversity and acceptancce. Where possible, UEW clergy are encouraged to participate in movements that seek to end the exclusive use of Judeo-Christian religion to determine Marriage. Love is Love, regardless of religion, country or political agenda.
